Pavilion 23
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I removed the original 4GB card, and replaced it with two 8GB cards (Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz SODIMM memory).  The Pavilion beeped without booting up, and the power light was orange instead of white.  I ended up removing one of the 8 GB cards, and the Pavilion is currently running on 8 GB of RAM (in the same memory socket that the original 4GB card was installed).  I haven't tried swapping out the 8GB cards to verify that both 8GB cards are operational.  That'll be my next step even though both cards were just purchase new.  I'm wondering if there is/are jumper settings or something else that I may not be aware of.

Hi,

What is your Pavilion 23 ? Please look at its label at the back or at the stand.

Regards.
