Hi there - I am wanting to upgrade the PSU in my desktop. The DVD is an Ultra slim Tray SuperMulti DVD burner which looks to have a smaller/non standard  SATA power connector on it. My new PSU only has standard SATA power connector on it.

I assume I need a female slim line SATA to male standard SATA converter or something like the connector in the link below. This one converts the power to female Molex. My new PSU has male Molex plugs so this might work.

Converter cable

Can you advise the right connector I will need for the upgrade?

Assuming that connector resembles the connector on the drive, it looks to me that is should work.  Not very expensive

They make a slightly different adapter also.
