I just noticed a*** problem, I don't have any probs except when I shut my computer off at nite, Then turn it on in the morning it makes a weird sound for about a min, Then stops, I wish they had more info on this as well.  Must have to hit a certain temp to spin 24/7?

@Paladin1980

Did you connect the white 7 pin inline plug (it has 3 wires) to the fan header?

Well I figured out it's gotta reach a certain temp for it to start spinning, Since it's platinuim, I put some wd 40 on the fan, So maybe that will help it not make that Grinding sound on startup

Yes I inspected the pc inside and out, and the only thing I can think of is that when the computer starts from a cold boot, the Cpu fan needs more power and is not getting it, until the PSU warms up, That is what the grinding sound is. I booted up without the dvd player in, The temps on the cpu and gpu are in the low40's on boot up, So I don't know know, I just hope it goes away, I can't afford another 65 dollars for this PSU

The fan only spins for a second on startup, Then it has to either reach a certain temp,or start to use enough power, I used kill a watt, and the most I use when gaming is around 230watts and the fan is lightly spinning threw my whole gaming system, So I think everything is fine, It's just goofy I don't know, I even put wd 40 on the back of the psu fan, But it still makes the grinding noise on cold boot ups
