Hi,
I'm in the process of Upgrading my Monitor to a LG 4K TV with HDMI Connections ONLY!!
I need to Upgrade my Graphics Card, to a Digital HDMI/DVI-I Card.
I'm looking at Three: - ATI Radeon HD5450 1GB DDR3 PCIe HDMI/DVI/VGA Low Profile Graphics Card.
HP 601155-001 594394-001 PCIe x16 1GB HD5450 DVI-I/HDMI Graphics Card.
Colourful NVIDIA GeForce GT730 PCIe 2GB DDR5 HDMI/DVI/VGA Graphics Card.
I've already tried VGA to HDMI Adapters, which didn't work, I just get a message saying "No Signal", so this is my next idea.
Any Help would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
John Donlon.:)

Assuming the mistyped model number is this one : Compaq CQ2990EA Desktop. The SUPPORT PAGE for that one shows a motherboard with no PCIExpress slot, which means that the cards listed will have no place to install. If the VGA adapter did not work, there might still be hope with a DVI to HDMI. It might require an active adapter to achieve what is desired, however.
Unless you have looked at the motherboard and it has a PCIExpress slot.
