I had this new computer this Monday. The reason I bought a new one was that I suspected my old Toshiba got compromised. I even purchased a new Linksys router which was AC 1900. My new HP computer has McAfee and uses MicrosoftEdge browser. There are several interesting issues I hope the HP experts can answer for me.
1. Why my old Toshiba disk drive appears on the Disk drives of the Device Manager?
2. Why are there two D drives on the Disk Management? I don't upgrade my Windows 10. I purchased a new computer.
3. Why hiberfil.sys, pagefile.sys, swapfile.sys and BOOTNXT appear on my Windows C drive?
Are the above synptoms normal? Do I need do something for those issues or just leave them along? I have a microsoft all in one account.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi,
I can't see your screen but:
1. New machine uses Toshiba HDD, not your old Toshiba machine. HP uses HDD's from many vendors including Toshiba.
2. Yes, that is normal. The one with file system is the real one, the one w/o file system is a shadow one.
3. Normally they are hidden system files, you can hide them if you wish.
Regards.
