Hi,
I enabled the encryption password on a Samsung 860 Pro 4TB. When I reboot the system, it prompts for the password at the BIOS level. If I type the password the systems continues to load the OS (CentOS) then I can mount the drive.
My problem is that I can't skip the BIOS password. The system will be on a remote location and I can't give the encryption password to the user. I should be able to ask the user to reboot the system then press ESC to skip the password, then I can ssh to it and enter the password and mount the drive.
Any ideas?
