Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi support,

My system is HP 8200 SFF i7-2600

when I check system performance I saw only 2 core of cpu. I run cpuz they show only 1 core 2 threads. I upgrade bios to latest version and enable multiprocessor and hyperthreading on bios already.

why i am still missing other 3 cores (the hardware spec said this system cpu is quad core (8 threads)

Please help

Regards,

Tanagool

The problem was fixed by msconfig and re-toggle advance option on specified number of cpu core drop down menu and restart the machine. Anyway thanks you very much for your support mind.

Hi @ryuoddo,

You may refer to below link to change the CPU Cores.

http://smallbusiness.chron.com/set-number-cores-windows-29171.html

And as per your unit specification, it has 4 cores/8 threads, as you have already enabled Hyperthreading in BIOS, it should give you the required output.

Refer to below link and Find out how many cores your processor has :

I hope that answers your question. 🙂
