It came with 1 GB (2-500 MB) from factory, I added 2-1 GB cards for a total of 3 GB which was more than XP supported but now I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit that supports 16 GB and I’d like to upgrade to the max it will support. I do have BIOS greater than 7 but it doesn’t look anything like the document I found online here shows and so is no help.

Just some FYI I swear at one time I was told by HP that memory had to be installed in pairs but I installed single card Kingston® KTH-XW4400C6/2G 2GB (1 x 2GB) DDR2 240-Pin SDRAM PC2-6400 DIMM Memory Module Kit For HP from Staples and it does work so I have 1 empty slot now.
