Hello, @marthijn1977 – Hope you are well 🙂
Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
Going through your post, I am not very sure about the issue. But, it looks like you need to change the energy save settings. You can check the “Power options” to change the energy save settings.
- Go to “Control panel” – Change the “View by” (top right corner) to “Small icons”.
- Select “”Power options”.
- Make sure the power plan selected is “Balanced (recommended)” – Select “Change plan settings”.
- You can select and change the power settings like sleep, display etc.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.
Good luck 🙂
