I am usingthe Intel HD2000 GPU/video controller on the CPU chip.

I want to purchase a monitor with higher resolution than I have now and I want to know what higher resolutions  the Intel HD2000 on my mother board will suppport.

My current monitor is 1920x1080.

hello again jpavany!: according to the intel web source your controller\video chip can go as high as 2540 x 1600

with either a Display Port or HDMI cable plugged in.

"not too shabby!"

hope this clarifies it for you
