Hard Drive Problem Under Warranty


The Desktop is :

HP Pavilion Elite m9177c - I had-it since nearly a year and a haft

Still on Warranty (for Parts)


Problem : Since a while One of the 2 Hard Drives had a Problem



How does-it work with HP for Covering Parts Under Warranty ?


1- Do I have to return the HD with all the info on-it in exchange or

2- Do they supply a New HD without exchange ?

3- or …

Contact HP.  You'll need to return the defective drive.  If the drive is dead, then you will not be able to wipe the data on the drive.  I'd avoid the cross-ship option.
