Can I delete the directory C:\Program Files\Hewlett - Packard\Documentation ?
I am using AVG antivirus and it hangs on one file preventing me from getting a
complete antivirus scan.
It hangs on C:\Program Files\Hewlett - Packard\Documentation \437363-1b
It looks like that entire HP directory is document files. I've never accessed those
documents and can't imagine that I ever would.

Rusty, do you have the "Show all files" checked in the Folders Preferrences? This would show files that are supposed to be protected if you do. If you don't, then, open the files to see what they say. It may be data for some of HP's programs that they furnish when the computer is new. If you delete them, the programs may not function properly.

What computer model do you have? What kind of documentation are you looking for? You should be able to search for your computer manuals and documentation through HP Customer Care.
