error 8007065E

HP Pavilion p7-1203, Windows 7 64 bit, error 8007065E "Windows encountered an unknown error" while trying to install important update KB2660649.  I received the red failed update message while performing a standard "Windows Update".  I followed the "get help" responses and went through the processes for  "Troubleshoot problems with installing updates" and "Windows update troubleshooter".  What should I do next?

Re: error 8007065E

Thanks for the responses.  I used the recovery disks and restored my computer.  My computer was only a few months old when the error occurred and this solved the problem with the updates.
