I tried to boot my Pavillion Series 500 it went and still goes into a black screen error saying "Boot Configuration Data for PC is missing or contains errors File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD: Error Code OOxc0000185 it then goes to a screen that tells me about a recovery disc by I can't find whre they sell the recovery disc kits on the site. Can someone help me with this problem. and tell me what it means? Thx dag1656@live.com

Windows 10 will take you to the recovery screen if it fails to boot either two or three times in a row. If that does not work, you can make a Windows 10 install DVD/flash drive and use that as a repair disk. From here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Scroll down to the "Download Tool now" after reading the heading "Using the tool to create installation media"
