Hi,

I'm trying to install Proxmox 8.0.2 (built on debian 12) on my HP Z1 Entry Tower G6, but can't seem to get it done because of several issues:

  1. Can't boot from USB with Proxmox ISO installed. When trying to "Selected Boot Image Did Not Authenticate" message appears. I've tried with multiple USBs, same result.
  2. When installing Proxmox on NVMe in other system and swapping it to HP Z1 Entry Tower G6, HP BIOS says the drive is empty. Tried with multiple NVMe drives, same result
  3. I thought Secure Boot might be the issue. When turning it of in bios system won't boot at all, until it boots with Secure Boot enabled again.
  4. I have tried installing regular Debian 12 from USB but can't go into boot menu to select USB drive to boot from.

Does anybody know of a solution or some step I could try to resolve this problem.

That PC has a special setup to access a USB to boot.

See page 73 and read "System will not boot from USB flash drive"
