Hello @Jimbombom

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

Your PC officially supports Windows Vista and Windows 7 - HP has tested this PC with these OS versions and have released drivers for them. Your PC was released long before Windows 10 was even announced by Microsoft.

Here is the full list of Win 10 requirements > https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-specifications

Personally, I cannot test it myself and cannot be 100% sure but there is a small chance it might work with Windows 10.

You can create a copy of your important data, download free trial version of Microsoft Windows 10 >here< free for 90 days

Download the ISO image, burn it on a DVD or USB device, boot from it and install Windows 10 (attempt to).

If it installs successfully, ensure you run Windows Update to apply updates for Windows 10 and drivers using this method > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139

If this does not work, you can revert back to Windows Vista.

* Note, the above is a work and requires some times and resources.

Note that Windows 7 is officially supported on your PC, it is a stable OS and will be supported by Microsoft until year 2020

Do not hesitate to post again if something is not clear and if you require details how to accomplish certain step.

Cheers!
