Hello I recently received an email to inform me of the  discontinuance of the HP SmartFriend service in Europe. This is a great service and I have used it for years for my HP desktops. Why is the service being terminated? Its such a shame.

HP maintains no official presence here and we are not authorized to deal with service termination issues.  For information about these issues, you will need to contact HP Customer Support directly. Perhaps they can tell you why the service was terminated.
