Hello, i have HP Compaq 8100 Elite Small Form Factor (ENERGY STAR) and i want to upgrade the bios because is legacy in UEFI how make this and i don t find something for upgrade.

It is not exactly clear as to the desired BIOS.  That device is old.  The latest BIOS on the support site was intended for Windows 7 and it is 1.13 Rev. A, Jul 14, 2011.

What BIOS is presently installed?

Hi, @Lady303 

 

There are no BIOS updates that will transform/convert your PC's BIOS from Legacy to UEFI.

 

The first model in the 8xxx Elite series to have a UEFI BIOS was the 8200 Elite model series.

 

The 8000 Elite and 8100 Elite have legacy BIOS' only.

This was the last BIOS update HP released for the 8100 Elite:

 

1.13

 

Υπολογιστής HP Compaq 8100 Elite Small Form Factor Λεπτομέρειες λογισμικού και προγραμμάτων οδήγησης

 

It superseded 1.08 and 1.09.

 

Once again...there is nothing you can do to have a UEFI BIOS for your PC.
