The HD on my IQ506 crashed. I don't need to recover any data but I would like to restore it to working condition. I have a HD to replace it with but I can't seem to find anyone with recovery disks. I believe it originally had Vista installed but would prefer to upgrade it to at least Win7.
I know this is a very old system but I would like to be able to use it in some capacity even as a media center or viewer. Help please.

Hi:
HP no longer sells recovery media for that model but you can still get a set of Vista recovery disks from this non-HP vendor at the link below.
http://www.computersurgeons.com/search.aspx?searchterm=+IQ506+
You will need to enter the product number of your IQ506 so you get the right set of disks.
The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number.
