HP Desktop PCs - Upgrading to Windows 10
It says:
"If you purchased your computer prior to August 2013, HP has not tested or developed drivers for your computer model. Some features might not work, or the installation might not be successful."
Is it worth trying to upgrade to Windows 10?
Or is it futile and not worth trying?

Hi:
The biggest issue you may encounter is that the audio will probably not work after you upgrade to W10.
Other than that, looking at the specs for your PC it appears that all the other hardware should work fine.
If you decide to roll the dice, and after you install W10, there is no audio, you can try this driver below which has worked for others with the same IDT audio chip.
This package provides the IDT Tempo High Definition Audio Driver for supported desktop models that are running a supported operating system.
File name: sp71717.exe
Here's a forum member who upgraded basically the same model PC as yours to W10. Other than the sound not working, he apparently did not have any other issues.

@BobJ-Maine, welcome to the forum.
The answer to your question is, how much are you willing to do to get it running properly? HP doesn't have Win 10 software or drivers for your computer. Therefore, you will have to depend on Windows Udate for any help. If you aren't planning to keep your computer very much longer, I wouldn't recommend it.
