Product: Elitebook 8460p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, 

 

I booted my Elitebook from the recovery USB stick which I recently received from HP (my HDD crashed), and after clicking start setup, it asks for the drivers, allows to browse to folders, but don't know where to find the drivers.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi:

 

Try booting the recovery drive from one of the PC's USB 2 ports.

 

I don't think it will work from a USB3 port because W7 doesn't have the USB3 drivers needed in order to install.
