Microsoft Edge takes anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds for a page to be executable. Chrome takes only 1 to 2 seconds.
Unforntunately Microsoft Edge is the Window's 10 default.
My desktop has 16g of ram and a 2 tb hard drive of which 95% is still free.
I'm in my 80's and my life is moving faster than Microsoft Edge.
Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If Microsoft Edge is causing you misery and Google Chrome works more to your liking, then make Chrome the default browser. Nothing is worth a poor preforming browser. Next time Chrome asks to be the default browser, say "Yes" or you can go to the settings page and then click on "System" topic and then select "Default apps" Scroll down to "Web Browser" Click on the browser listed and then pick "Google Chrome" from the list of browsers.. Since Google Chrome is installed, it should then become the default browser.
I'm not an HP employee.
