hi,

Try getting intoi safe mode, this has become more difficult in Windows 10, but here is how you can do it. When you are at the login screen you have to turn off the computer by forcing it to turn off (pressing and holding power button). After doing this 3 times windows will automatically boot into recovery mode mode where you go into advanced options.

Here you can try to do a system restore if you have a restore point. Or go into startup settings and startup with network in safe mode. (to get on internet you will need to attach cable from computer to router)

Once in safe mode try to run the Command prompt as administrator (right-click on start and click on run as administrator)

type:

sfc /scannow

Try to reboot the computer after scannow has finished and let me know if works,

David
