Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP Omen 870-157c desktop PC and would like to know how to turn off the LED lights on it. I'll be glad to assist you with this case.
I suggest you to try using the HP OMEN Control app. The HP OMEN Control app allows you to customize the LED lights on HP OMEN computers. Lighting mode options include single or multi-stage light sequences, system usage and temperature indicators, audio show, or completely off.
Please refer to this HP document for detailed steps: http://hp.care/2jvJIAm
Hope this information helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! 🙂

Hi,
I have a OMEN 880-179nd, with LEDs, the LEDs on the inside of the case are nice, but the ones on the outside are quite bright, I would like to turn them off, there is no such thing as OMEN control app, only the OMEN Command Center in which you can do absolutely nothing.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I called HP Support and they told me that it is not possible to control the LED's by any software, so I openened the case and pulled out 2 plugs from the motherboard, I believe they were called light 4 and 5.

Thank you very much for the answer.
But an other question: is it possible to turn it off from bios?
There is the possibility to add a component to make it settable maybe with a third part software?
Thanks to all
