Dear Sir/Madam,

I had my laptop stolen a day ago and I wanted to know if HP can help me out with this. I had personal pictures and confidential documents on the laptop that I cannot afford to lose into the wrong hands. I wanted to ask if HP can delete this data from my laptop. I do not mind paying any amount for this as long as this can be done.

I really appreciate your help with this!

Nope, HP does not have access to remote in to your HP computer at anytime.

The user at hand would have to contact HP, install remote software, then give windows permission to allow the access to happen.

Your next computer purchase, install Anti-theft software. That is a good way to trigger a deletion of personal files remotely if stolen. But that would only happen if the thief connects to the internet first.

Sorry.
