Hey teams, how can I tell what motherboard is what operating system based for Windows Home or Pro? For example, I had a Windows 8 Pro based motherboard for HP All-In-One 19-2304. Does the part number has a role? If so, what is which?

SOLVED: I revied the Bios Motherboard part number with the one from 19-2304 (Windows 8 Pro) that couldn't recover and wrong motherboard I bought  21-2024 (Windows 10 Home). I  found out that if it ends with -001, its a Pro (Professional) version of Windows 8 or higher operating syatem. If it ends with -002, then it is a Home version.

@Dessenboro

Motherboards are not based on Operating Systems.

The governing limitation of running any OS on a motherboard is the availability of drivers for that OS for the hardware on the motherboard, connected to it, and plugged into it.

These are often known as Chipset Drivers, but drivers are also needed for the additional hardware.

As long as those driver are available for that OS, it will work on that motherboard.
