Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

ProDesk 400G1 MT

Windows 8 was orignal operating system

Upgraded to Windows 10 recently

Issue:   Replaced orignal mobo that crashed.

Original HP mobo crashed.  Replaced with higher version 2.0 than the 1.2 that it came with but same maker.

Getting two errors:

1. at boot up - Invalid Chassis Serial Number

2. Windows 10 boots and works great - did not need to reinstall O/S - but Windows 10 does not activate

Solutions?  Is there a way to fix this without reinstallation?   Something in BIOS/EUFI that needs updating?

Thanks,

Darryl

The Windows 10 Product Key is tied to the motherboard, you should contact Microsoft Activation Support @ (888) 571-2048
