Hi @KAZGAMER,

Good Day! Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums!. I hope you enjoy your experience! 🙂 It is a terrific place to find answers and tips and to get the best from the community.

I reviewed the post regarding the display skipping frames at 75Hz on your Omen PC. It will be a genuine pleasure to assist you here. 🙂

Stupendous diagnosis and great analysis of the situation after deducing that there is no paper jam or anything like that. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you. 🙂

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information?

  • Have you tried a lower display frequency refresh rate like 60 Hz?
  • Did you update the video drivers and the bios and check again?
  • Please provide the complete model# of the unit to check the product specifications to see if that is supported?

For now please perform these steps.

Uninstall the display drivers from device manager.

  • Right-Click on start button> click device manager> expand display adapters>then select the display drivers that are listed and right-click on it and uninstall the drivers.
  • Check the box that states delete the software for this device.
  • Then restart the computer and update the bios chipset and graphic drivers from this link: http://hp.com/drivers Please select the country and type the product# of the unit and follow the on-screen instructions. Then check again.

Hope this helps.  Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. 🙂  Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you. 🙂

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.

If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles. 🙂

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂

Thank you!

Here are the details you requested:

OMEN X 900VT by HP Desktop PC with OMEN by HP 32 32-inch Display

The 60 hz operations works great but the specification indicates it should support 75hz operation.  However, at 75 you seem the frame skipping

is this a known issue.

Hi @KAZGAMER,

I reviewed the post comprehensively. superb effort and brilliant troubleshooting. hats off to you on that score. 🙂

Please provide the complete product# of the unit as the model# that you gave me brings up several Omen computers.

Please try these steps:

  • Right-Click on start button> click device manager> expand display adapters>then select the display drivers that are listed and right-click on it and uninstall the drivers.
  • Check the box that states delete the software for this device.
  • Then restart the computer and update the bios chipset and graphic drivers from this link: http://hp.com/drivers  and check again.
  •

If it still does not do the trick for you, then could be a possible glitch. Please use the 60Hz refresh rate as it works fine. That should do the trick for you.

Trust me I've all I can to assist you here, by keeping your best interest in mind.
