I'm going to replace my 128GB SSD OS drive in an attempt to resolve an issue with system freezing at bootup. HP doesn't have a replacement part available. I'm looking for recommendations on a replacement for this drive. The factory drive I'm replacing is a SanDisk SSD X600 SATA M.2 2280 SSD. HP Part number is 932310-002
Not looking to spend a lot of money and don't really need more capacity as this is just the OS drive and it has a 1TB spinning disk as well. Increased speed would be ideal but not sure that's possible with the SATA interface (it's not a PCIe slot)
Any help would be appreciated!

HP has many machines which support both but from the safe side, I would go for the existing option (ie SATA).
Regards.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06038769
It has
- 128 GB PCIe NVMe TLC M.2 Solid State
- 1 TB
You can replace 128GB with a larger (capacity) drive. You are saying it has The factory drive I'm replacing is a SanDisk SSD X600 SATA M.2 2280 SSD. HP Part number is 932310-002. But is specs shows it has 128GB NVMe drive which is faster. If you ONLY wish to use M.2 SATA drive you can use many models.products around, for example

Thank-you Banhien! Appreciate your response. I'm not sure why the specs online are different than what is in my machine??? I looked at the Canadian HP site and it also has the same specs that you shared with me on the Australian HP site. It's strange that HP would publish the wrong specs on their website. The existing SSD is a SATA M.2 drive and the slot it came out of has the two notches so I don't believe it will support the PCIe NVMe at all which is too bad because that would be much faster. I'm assuming I can use any SATA M.2 drive like the Samsung one you sent me?
Thanks a lot!
