Product: HP p6520f
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Running 'Device Discovery' under Hardware Diagnostic Tools, I get a an error. From what I can see it hangs on the SMART on my hard drive, which is a SMART hard drive. It use to work fine.

Sounds like the HDD is not looking good. Please back up your data and files now before too late.

A message from another response elsewhere stated that for Windows 10, this error is a false (bug)message related to to the SMART drive. Disk Chect shoewed no errors and other reports show the HD is okay.

 

It is the beginning of the month so I backup and/or image everything via 2 programs anyway.
