Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I got a new pc recently but have been plagued by errors. I was getting constant KERNALL security errors and corrupt memory pool errors so I decided to try and restore my computer. During he restoration process an error popped up saying that "Windows has failed to install. Restart computer for instillation to begin." If I restart my computer I get the same error anyways. I've tried multiple troubleshooting methods on startup but to no prevail.

Hi @Matt_R

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

Despite the errors can you start the PC to Windows desktop ?

I would suggest you first perform some hardware checks to rule out hardware issues with memory or HDD.

1. Please, shutdown the computer using the power button

2. Power it on.

2.1 As soon as you press the power-on button, immediately begin hitting the Esc button (like tap-tap-tap).

This should open a HP Startup Menu

3. Choose F2 to open System Diagnostics. Follow the on-screen instructions to perform System Test >> Quick test.

This will check major hardware componets for issue (do it just in case) . Here is more info >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03467259#AbT1

If there are no system checks/no quick tests, perform HDD and RAM check.

Let me know the test results.

If the hardware tests pass, something is wrong with your recovery partition & you will need to use original HP Recovery media to fix your issue. You can purchase it by opening this URL

Select Microsoft - Windows - Windows 10

Scroll down to "Order Recovery Media - ... " - expand it and follow the instructions.

Once you receive the recovery media, you need to boot from this USB device and follow the instructions  >> http://hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=HPSystemRecovery.net&section=ccweb&SFS=tdoc&language=english...

If your PC is still with active warranty, you may also contact HP Support for free in-warranty support >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/product/OMEN-by-HP-870-100-Desktop-PC-series/12079703/model/...

Hope this helps. Let me know if you face any difficulties.
