Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Upgraded from VISTA to Win8 and then Win10 last year.  Everything ok...almost...USB controller driver not recognized and a default one is being used but is not reading/controlling USB.  I get the bing when plugging and unplugging USB but nothing else...no action.

WHen I look at the driver list, it shows the USB driver as unknown...does anyone have a valid driver for the USB Controller?

I suggest that you purchase a PCIe USB expansion card that has support for Windows 10 as a workaround. See the following selection at NewEgg. CHeck the manufacturer specifications carefully before purchase.

Unfortunately, support for newer operating systems with older HP products does not last forever.
