The systems starts blinking the Monitor after installing an update.
The following message was stated when updating:
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon (TM) R7 Graphics - Error 0x8024ce2b
After a few boots/days the system seems to be operational again and in the update log I can see:
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon R7 240
In the log I find many updates from
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon(TM) R7 Graphics
and
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon R7 240
How can I stop this or make it a correct update?

KOLSEN

During this morning I gor an automatic update from AMD.
During this update the Monitor became stable again.
All looks normal.
I'll try to reboot the PC

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
I understand the Update of WIN 10 is causing problems,
Don't you worry, though, as I've got a few steps listed below that should resolve this issue:
To fix the error 0x8024ce2b:
Please follow the instruction below to solve the problem.
1. Download the "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter package (link is given at the end of this post)
This tool will help you to prevent the driver from being reinstalled until a new driver fix is available
2. Go to Device Manager by pressing Windows+X
3. Expand "Display adapters" and right on the "Graphic driver", uninstall it and then re-install using the package downloaded from your device manufacturer
(Just Google for them, use the keyword like this: "Intel/AMD/NVidia/... graphic driver windows 10 download")
4. Reboot the computer & run it normally
If the above doesn't work, try to update your BIOS to the latest one using the HP Official website: Click here
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

Updated the derivers, but the problem was the same.
Updated BIOS, but the problem became even worse.
The initial screen after logon is not stable, constantly switching between black and std. screen in a second.
Very difficult to start an app.

Thank you for replying,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
If you are unable to boot into windows,
I recommend you attempt to start the computer in safe mode (click here for details)
Using the safe mode you could complete the steps previously suggested and therefore resolve the issue,
let me know how that goes,
