I purchased my HP computer in 2009 with "Windows Vista" O/S installed. I wasn't aware that I was eligible to upgrade my O/S to "Windows-7". Recently Microsoft stopped servicing "Vista" & I may have security risks. While HP healthcheck, I just had this message popped up on my computer,
"Any HP PC preinstalled with Windows Vista Home Premium, purchased between June 26th 2009 and Jan 1st 2010 will be eligible for an upgrade to Windows 7 when it becomes available".
I tried to update but it is no longer available. Can anybody help?

Hi Ed
I don't think this upgrade is available anymore.
Microsoft wants everybody to use Windows 10.
There is no free upgrade path from Vista to Windows 10.
Sorry to tell you this but you are stuck with Vista unless you purchase Win 7 or Win 10 installation media online.
Grzy
