Hello,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome !

Yes, Microsoft are very pushy about Windows 10 and are doing everything to make it run on every PC worldwide.

Fortunately, there is an easy way to return back to your previous Windows edition (but I am not sure if the games will also be restored). This can easily be done 30 days after Win 10 was installed. After these 30 days there are other means.

Go to Setting >> Update & Recovery >> Recovery.

Here is how to do it >> http://www.howtogeek.com/220723/how-to-uninstall-windows-10-and-downgrade-to-windows-7-or-8.1/

Once you successfully go back to your previous Windows edition, you can use a free application that can disable the Win 10 upgrade. Here are instructions :

Ensure you use it to disable auto Win 10 install and re-configure your Windows Update settings to notify you and ask you before downloading and installing updates. Note that these instructions are application are not from HP - they are 3rd party.

Please, let me know if this works for you.
