Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was working online and then my screen froze for a second.....when I went back to the desktop the windows 10 setup had disappeared and replaced with the tiles. My normal icons were gone and I just want to get back to it....HEEELLLLPPPPP

Please power down the unit and perform hard reset from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01684768

The power on the computer and check if the issue has been resolved.

If it has not been fixed, please check these links out for further assistance.

 

Then visit the first link to unpin all the tiles.

 

Link 1: http://www.windowscentral.com/how-force-tablet-mode-windows-10

If link 1 does not work please visit lkink 2.

 

Link 2: http://www.howtogeek.com/197586/how-to-make-the-windows-10-start-menu-look-more-like-windows-7/

Then visit the second link and uncheck or check the option titled "Use the Start menu instead of the Start screen."  Depending on your situation.

Link3: http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/windows-10-tip-swap-between-start-menu-and-start-screen

 

Link 4 :shows how to restore desktop icons. Link 4: http://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/restore-desktop-icons-in-windows-10.html
