Purchased the HP Pavilion 20-b310 All-in one PC & set it up - but have forgotten my password to actually log on - my hint info isn't helping & of course I didn't write my pw down or make a flash drive to save the info.  How can I access my computer?  thx

To reset your Microsoft Account password go here if you forgot it:

https://account.live.com/resetpassword.aspx

 

If you know your present password and you want to change it yourself see here:

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/passwords/a/reset-microsoft-account-password.htm

 

 

The first option would be quicker though, answer a few questions and they will send you a temporary new one you may change.

It is user password or bios password? they are different. Plus, what the os is?

i assumed you didn't login with microsoft account. IF it it, then you should check the above answers for that. For local account, you need to make a password reset disk on a normal computer with CD or USB. Then use the disk to reset account password on the locked computer.
