My computer is very slow operating and most of the time the display
"website not responding due to a long running script" appears.
What can be done to solve this problem?
At the moment the computer is not operationel.

Christian

Please explain.
Error-messages very quickly after power-on?
Does it boot into Windows?
Error-messages while loading Windows?
> "website not responding due to a long running script"
This message is a "guess" by Internet Explorer that it is taking "too long" to fully display a specific web-page.
This can be caused by the "script" coding on a web-page that is consuming too much CPU.
But, if "overall", your computer is running slowly, you have some other problem.
What are the specifications for your computer:
* manufacturer,
* model-number,
* CPU speed,
* single-core, dual-core, quad-core,
* Operating System,
* anti-virus software installed, updating itself regularly,
* amount of RAM memory,
* age of the disk-drive,
* is the C: partition nearly full,
When you open Windows "Task Manager", and click the "Performance" tab, what do you see?
