Hello,
I just bought pavillion desktop from bestbuy this morning. I need install sql server express 2014. but my new desktop gives me an error 1935 which is related to visual studio c++ 2005 redistrubable. So i decide to reset the pc to the manufacture default to see if it is fixing my sql server problem.
the resetting process has been running 3 hours and it is at 73%. I just want to know if the process takes long and usually how many hours it can finish.
thanks,
hacou

Hello,
Finally I got window 10 back. it took 7 hours to finish the recovery process.
also, I found why Sql server 2014 express can't install on my new HP desktop. I need remove mcafee scan because it conflicts with visual studio 2005 c++ redistrubutable.
regards,
hacou

Hi,
You're welcome.
SSD's really speed thing up.
You are waiting an awful long time. Are you doing the reset with no additional peripherals attached.
You might want to run UEFI HDD diagnostics on the drive after the reset.
