What is your HP p631xx ? What is your camera ? Normally you need drivers and programs from your camera's vendor to install to your computer(s). From time to time, drivers and programs could be out of date and un-workable.
The simplest way to load photos from cameras to computers is to use the removable cards (on cameras) and card readers (on computers). I believe your camera and your computer can use this simple way.
