win 8.1 driver for hp laserjet 1018

my acer win 8.1 computer ja hp laserjet 1018 don't work together. I must change win 8.1 because skype didn't work with win 8. now i have problems with this printer! Please tell me some possitive messages:smileyhappy:

Here is the "Software & driver download page" for the printer:

You will have to select your OS from the drop-down menu.  There is the full feature software and driver for your printer.

Please click "Accept as Solution" if your problem is solved.

This is not true, there is no driver from HP voor Windows 8.1 64 

Although Windows 8.1 recognizes the the HP1018 the printeroptions are very limited compared to

the HP drivers for previous Windows versions.

A laser printer for private use has a long life,  cartridges are available from HP but driver driver support has ended.

This is a  very disappointing experience .

Please start a thread of your own.  This thread is almost 3 years old.  Nobody will be watching it except me.  This is a peer to peer help forum. The only presence that HP has on it are the Admins and the Mods. Otherwise, none of us works for HP.
