Disk Defrag

My system performs its scheduled tune up. It runs all night and does not complete the disc defrag. p6347c

Run a disk diagnostic from the BIOS to see if the disk has issues.

 

You may also run chkdsk /f from the command line to check the hard drive for errors and effect repairs.. Here is a web document at the how-to Geek that covers what chkdsk can do for you.

Have you checked your Event Viewer for anything that might explain what's going on?
