Enter network password

I have an HP XW4600 with Vista XP.  The message to "enter network password"  keeps popping up every few seconds/minutes.  The information has been saved for quite some time, but it doesn't like anything I try and interferes with whatever program I am using.  My server is pop.central.cox.net and user is kjolliff.  Is there something I can do to reset it?  There isn't a help tab on the message.  I'm not receiving e-mail because of this error message.

Network or Admin password? Do you have a router? Server?
