How do you Create an association program in the Set Associations control panel for windows mail?

I've tried to open some .pps files from my windows mail email program and they will not open. It says to set an associate program to open the file. How do I do that? Thank-you

Hi,

What version of Windows are you using ( ie Vista, Windows 7 etc )?

The files you mention are PowerPoint slideshows - do you have Microsoft PowerPoint installed on your PC?

Regards,

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I have windows vista. I also have  microsoft office power point  on my computer. If I save the attachment I can open it from the computer. I cannot open it from inside my windows mail.
