I utilize an HP Color Laserjet Postscript driver.
Vista contained the "HP Color LaserJet 4550 PS" driver as did XP. Windows 7 RC1 does not appear to have it.
The only driver common to the install of Windows Vista and Windows 7 that is of use is "HP Color LaserJet 2800 Series PS".
My question, should I change to utilize the 2800 or can I count on the 4550 being available for the production version of Windows 7?
The quote on the HP website regarding this issue is cryptic at best: "HP is working with Microsoft to include drivers in the Windows 7 operating system for products introduced in recent years.". Does this mean that the 4550 does not fit in the "introduced in recent years" category and will henceforth not be included in Windows 7 and beyond? Thanks!

So the saga begins. Everyone dumped on Vista for the same thing and now along comes the Ultimate Windows 7 that is highly thought of. FOR NOW.
I would also say that more than 50% of the people DO NOT understand that the RC is the ultimate version which will not be standard on all pc's and harder for drivers to work properly.
