PLEASE HELPPP

im not sure of the type of my computer, it says hp w2207h on the front and hdmi in the top left corner,

in fact its this one

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=3543988&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&jumpid=ex_r602_go/hhol...

i have an issue, i start my computer, the main screen comes up with all the options eg:

boot,system recovery, run diagnostics

afterwards theres the usual loading screen, but then it says "windows is loading files", it never said this before, but now it does.

Now it does, and i have a problem.

After this message it loads some more and then i have a blue screen, no comands work, tried control+alt+delete.

Its just a blue screen, nothing else on it, no icons, nothing, just blue, and all i can do is move my cursor.

Tried safe mode, didnt work.

Tried scanning for problems, but the computer said there wasnt any.

Tried restoring it to last successful launch before this problem and that didnt work either.

Pleaseeeee helpppppp.

Re: PLEASE HELPPP

Hi

Please go to the diagnostics and run the test for Hard drive & Memory and check if any test fails then you might have to replace the part only then the unit will be back to its working condition.

Re: PLEASE HELPPP

Hi

Once unit is powered on keep tapping the F11 key you will get the option for Recovery on the unit before this kindly back up your information as data will be lost. Incase unit does not load to the screen you need to contact HP Technical support and order the Disc or click on the weblink given below to order the disc online.

Order Recovery Discs for Windows 7, Vista, or XP

Re: PLEASE HELPPP

Heres some info:

Monitor Status

VGA Input: Active

HDMI input : No input signal

Current settings: 1024x768- 60Hz

Reccommended Settings: 1680x 1050- 60Hz

Is there something wrong with the HDMI signal input.

Although bare in mind that this message comes up when i first start my computer off in the first 10 seconds, I purposely tried to get this message to see if anything was wrong so i get it when i disconnect the plug to the monitor and plug it back in 10 seconds after i start my computer.

It was reccomended to see what happens.

PLEASE HELP

Re: PLEASE HELPPP

Hi Reemas

The F11 option has the option to back up data that is the reason i gave you this information. Kindly have it checked and let me know how it goes as i understand this is an issue with operating system
