Problems with waking from sleep!!!

I've metioned this earlier in another thread that I'm having problems with waking up from sleep mode on XP and Windows 7. It show me only a blank screen with a line at the top with part of the logon screen in it. I'm thinking it's something to do with my graphics card/driver. I have a Pavilion a1730n with the stock hardware. I have updated everything's drivers but it still happens. Someone plz help me! Thanks!

I've also got a HP pavilion a1712n.

I just recently let HP update the nvidia driveres.  (yesterday)

Now I see the same symptom of problems waking from sleep, with a line on top.  I support expires in three days...

Appreciate knowing this answer.  HP should not reach out and break PCs.

Its a possibility it may be the graphics drivers.  I suggest rolling back to the drivers from hp.com.

There are no graphics drivers for NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE by HP for Windows XP. That is the main problem!

OK, try downloading the updated drivers from NVIDIA.

Before installing, I suggest uninstalling the drivers first.

I did use the Graphics Drivers from NVIDIA but the same problem keeps coming! I think there is nothing I can do about this...

It might be an OS issue.  I found this site:

You can try downloading the KB Article 943899 from Microsoft.

I am not sure if this will fix it, but worth a try.
