Reformat Hard Disc Drive

Can anyone help with how to reformat my hard disc drive on a HP Pavilion

Depends on the model. If it is an XP machine you tap away at the F10 key after powering on the machine. If it is Vista or Windows 7 machine, start tapping the F11 key right after powering on, at the point of the HP logo screen appearing.

 

You also have HP Recovery Manager in your Start ,All Programs which can be used to reboot the machine to format and reinstall..known as System Recovery.
