Windows 7

I'm getting messages stating the Windows 7 that came installed on my new Pavilion desktop may not be legal.  I tried to activate it with Microsoft and received message my product code is invalid for activation.  Please help

Still under warranty and definitely HP will help you. Please contact an office in your area (on the above lists) and they will fix this for you.

Something in your system got fouled up.... maybe a change to the hard drive partitions, file coruption, or BIOS. Please use the HP Recovery Manager (in Windows), HP Recovery Boot option (F11), or HP Recovery Discs to resolve your issue. This should return the computer to a factory like state... including the Windows activation status. If there is a BIOS issue you may continue to receive this message and will require additional help.

Did not consider the last month's issue with the BIOS chip.  The mother board on my PC was replaced.
