Recently purchased a used hp dc5100 sff which has an intel chipset 82915G/GV/910GL. when attempting to install a game, the following message appeared: "WINEER_not implemented." I have downloaded, hopefully, all required software upgrades for both the unit and the chipset. Now a message appears "Driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain appropriate driver from computer manufacturer." Being a novice, I am completely confused...is there anyone out there that can shed any light to what is going on here ?? Thanks.

Hi not sure if this will assist or not, but noticed that the unit you have was a business unit, not consumer.
Not sure what O/S your running but here is the page for support etc on your unit, if you notice that their are 2 SFF models of your unit. Not really that much of a difference but just wanted you to know.
Kudos if this helps...

I thought we might have had something, however, upon downloading the BIOS
update, the following message: "c\documents and settings\bill\my documents\downloads\ROM.CAB
is missing or corrupt."
I appreciate your input, but since this was a business unit, perhaps there is a hidden code or something....btw, there was no OS when I bought this, so, XP pro was installed.
Thanks for your input, its well worh a "kudo."
